I have tried to work these problem and seem to do it wrong.I need help.
3/4(5x-1/2)-5/3<1/3

could help me please.

6y+2y<-24=
y=-3 is this right.

3/4(5x-1/2) < 1/3 + 5/3
3/4(5x-1/2) < 2 , now multiply by 4
3(5x - 1/2) < 8 , now expand
15x - 3/2 < 8 , times 2
30x - 3 < 16
30x < 19
x < 19/30

your second problem:
6y+2y<-24
8y ≤ - 24
y ≤ -3
