Hi, I actually make my art work on mirrors.
What I do is clean the mirror first then add contact paper down perferebly clear or white then i put the carbon paper down and tace the image onto the mirror then i take a small shape knife and cut out my picture. usually by taking out all of the lines then i take the pieces that i cut out and remove the contact paper from those and then i add etching cream. the design will be permenent if u follow the dirctions on the bottle.
