How did the Plessy v. Ferguson decision affect racial relations in the South?
a. it forced white and African Americans to sue the same public facilities
b. it allowed segregation to continue legally
c. it improved the qualify of African American facilities
d. it ordered that segregation should be ended in public schools

i'm confused between B and C
"in this decision, the Court held that segregation was legal as long as the separate facilities provided for blacks were equal to those provided to whites.." i think the answer might be B ...."african american schools and other facilities in the south were rarely if ever made equal"

  • history -

    It's definitely B.
