Homework Help: Business

I am working on a paper on the Dynamic of Ethics-in particular the AIG Bonuses. I have written about the previous situation and changes that are taking place since the AIG Bonuses. For example, the 90% tax on bonuses, changes in compensation committes, and limiting executive compensation. I am having a problem putting into words
1-Why the changes are taking place?
2-Desired outcomes/future situations
Can someone please help me?

These changes are taking place because the American people are ANGRY! This has caused the elected government officials to take these measures.

The desired outcomes are to get at least some of this bonus money back and to prevent future excess of greed and unethical behaviors.
