how do u divide fractions?

i really need help with this.

i need to know all the steps.

To divide fractions, you multiply one by the other fraction written upside down, which is called the reciprocal. It's that simple!

There are 3 Simple Steps to Divide Fractions:

Step 1. Turn the second fraction (the one you want to divide by) upside-down (this is now a reciprocal).

Step 2. Multiply the first fraction by the reciprocal of the second.

Step 3. Simplify the fraction (if needed)
