24 coins - 4 dimes = 20 (pennies + nickels)

number of pennies = 1/4 nickels

20 = 4 pennies + 16 nickels

He has four dimes

That leaves 20 that are pennies or nickels.

1/4 of 16 is 4, and 16 + 4 = 20
