She was not widely acclaimed until after her death, although she was known in Poetry circles. She was not a social butterfly,but kept to herself her thoughts, but on paper put great flowing thoughts for all to read.
I know of no awards she won. Annually, in Poets Corner, Westminsiter Abby, a wreath is laid by the annual Browning Society awards winners. THose winners are young persons, usually 11 to 17, getting awards for their poetry, something neither Elizabeth nor Robert never received, albeit both wrote mighty poems in those years.
