Using contemporary language, re-write the contents of the letter and Lady Macbeth's opening soliloquy from Act I, scene v (beginning "They met me in the day ..." and ending, "To have thee crowned withal").

Avoid paraphrasing one word at a time. Instead, modernize a phrase, statement, or idea using today's language, including slang and colloquialisms.
