how do i do these:
1.100 increased by 72%
2. 10 increased by 30%
3. 80 increased by 60%
4. 6 increased by 10%
5.12 increased by 40%
PLEASE HELP :(

long way:
take .72 times 100 = 72
add that to 100 for 172
quick way: take 1.72 times 100 = 172
do the others the same way.
e.g. for #5
long way: 12(.4) = 4.8
add to 12 to get 16.8
quick way: 12(1.4) = 16.8

10x.30=3, so 10+3
and so on..
