Homework Help: english

hello:)For next week I can choose a text(ca.10 pages)and I need to think of some assignments my friends students can do with the text.It has to last for 45 - 60 minutes.So, my job is only to stand in front of the class and give them this text and say what they have to do with it.I thought something like changing the end of the story but i am lacking ideas!And I really want to be creative so that they don't get bored.Any ideas?

How about putting them into groups , and having them turn the text into a skit: writing the dialogue and the action. Then maybe your teacher could be persuaded to let each group do a mini performance. (maybe next week)
