Your daughter's thinking is correct.
But you didn't state her answer.
What is 3/4 of 12?
Also -- please don't use all capital letters. It's considered to be shouting by internet etiquette.
Oh I'm sorry, just trying to be quick.
Her answers are as follows:
A. 3
B. 9/16
C. 9 and 3
Thank you.
A is correct.
B. 3/4 is three times as much as 1/4
C. 3/4 of 12 = 9
can you explain b and c
B. 3/4 IS 3 TIMES AS MUCH AS ?
Since the first question asks about 1/4, it seems logical that the second question is asking what 3 times 1/4 is.
C. 3X3= ? SO 3/4 OF 12 IS?
3 * 3 = 9
