a driveway is 162 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 6 inches deep. how may cubic yards of concrete will be required to lay the driveway? and pease explain answer

Change feet into yards.
162 feet = 54 yards
12 feet = 4 yards
0.5 feet = 1.5 yards

Multiply the three dimensions together.

54 * 4 * 1.5 = 324 cubic yards

I goofed.

6 inches = O.5 feet = 0.167 yards

54 * 4 * 0.165 = 35.64 cubic yards
