(Which one is correct?)

4. What year are you in?
I'm in the first year.
I'm in my first year.

5. What grade are you in?
I'm in the first grade in middle school.
I'm in my first grade in middle school.

(Are the answers and questions correct from 4 to 5?)

6. What club are you in?
I'm in the Sports club.

7. What club do you belong to?
I belong to the Sports club.

(Are both correct? Which one is the more popular of the two from 6 through 7 ?)

John... If you only have two friends, then #2 is correct. I think that you wanted to say "Write down the names of two of your friends."

Here we would say "I am in the (6th) or (7th) grade." Middle schools begin with one of those two.

Both 6 and 7 are correct and are interchangable.
