Can fruits be used to make a lightaaulb glow?

Yes, but it may take several of them arranged in a series-parallel arrangement to provide enough current and voltage. You would have to stick electrodes of two difference metals into the fruit (or vegetable). Usually copper and zinc electrodes are used. A potato will also work.

If you use a light bulb, make sure it is the small 1.5V variety that can run on one battery. An LED would be easier to light.
