Find the yintercept and the xintercept for the equation.
6x + y=22
6x +y=22
6(0) + y=22
y= (0, 22)
Is this right for y, and how do you get x, I need some help please!!

Substitute y = 0 for x intercept and solve for y

What is the x intercept for this problem. please help me is above

when x = 0, that is the y axis
so
the line hits the y axis when
y = 22
That is the y intercept.
When y = 0, that is the x axis
the line hits the x axis at
6 x = 22
x  22/6 = 11/3
That is the x intercept.

so what is the answer for yintercept? that have to be in pair.
Then the answer for xintercept must be in pair also.

Hey look, draw a sketch.
The y intercept is where the line hits the y axis and x = 0
Therefore if the y intercept is 22
Then that point is at (0,22)
and
If the x intercept is at x = 11/3
then that point is (11/3,0)
