Please simplify. Write your answer using positive exponents.

(8^2)^ -1 =?

In case you are having trouble reading it, it translates to:

(8 squared) to the -1 power (exponent) or (8 ^2) ^ -1 = ?

Any ideas? I have an idea, but would appreicate some feed back! Thanks!
