Is this following sentence correct with grammar? If not how should it look

By adding more options for the customers, the staff can then be responsible for promoting those new items and advertisements can be made to help draw customers back to the restaurant.

The best way of correcting this is to make two sentences. Omit "and" and begin the second sentence with "Advertisements."
