**Willow**, Monday, February 23, 2009 at 7:15pmLike I said with awl, I found the circumference forumla, which is:

c = pi times diameter

OR

c = 2 times pi times radius

I can't find the area formula. :(

Just place in 3 where I said "radius."

Hope I helped! :)

**Ms. Sue**, Monday, February 23, 2009 at 7:17pmArea = pi * radius squared

A = pi*r^2

A = 3.14 * 9

A = 28.26 square inches
