Homework Help: Math...Applying the Order of Operations

Can you please show me where i'm going wrong?

Here's the question:

2(14+35/7) - ((-14 + -35)/-7)

A.28 B.31 C.26 D.26 E.38

Here are the rules that apply:
Multiplying and Dividing Integers.

*If the signs are the same,then give the answer a positive sign.

*If the signs are different,then give the answer a negative sign.

*Do all the work in the symbols first etc, etc. i.e. P E M D A S

Here is only one of my attempts.

2(14+35/7) - ((-14 + -35)/-7)
2(14+5) - ((-14 + -35)/-7)
2(19) - ((-49)/-7)
38 - (+7)
38 + (-7)
31

Even yet another answer. Hopefully i have arrived at the correct answer this time.
