Maybe it will help if we see it with spaces and get rid of what seem to be typos..

    1.
    16 nickels
    a.circle 3 of the nickels
    b.how much money is that
    3 nickels = 15 cents

    2.
    b. says circle 5/6 of the dimes
then it says how much money is that ?
I assume there are 6 dimes. You circle 5 of these 6 dimes.
5 times ten cents is 50 cents

    3.
says circle 3/5 of the quarters . oh yeah these are fractions if you don't know.
Then it says how much money is that then a money sign

    3 quarters is 75 cents.
