**Ms. Sue**, Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 8:43pmSince there are 360 degrees in a circle and the clock has 12 hours, divide: 360 / 12 = 30. In one hour, the minute hand moves 30 degrees.

In half an hour, it moves 15 degrees.

Can you figure out the rest?

**Reiny**, Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 9:47pmActually, it is the hour hand that moves 30 degrees in one hour.

the minute hand moves 6 degrees every minute.

eg. from 12:00 to 12:15 the minute hand would form a right angle or 90 degrees

so 90/15 = 6

so for #5

9:00 to 9:05 is 5 minutes

the others are really easy as well

or 30 degrees
