never mind what i figured that out but i cant seem to figure this out
(x^2y^6-3)^2 .....thanks for your help i really need it

    It's hard to tell the way you wrote looks like x raised to the 2 power times y raised to the 6 power...then there's a -3 in there...where does the -3 come in? is that an exponent?
