I need to do reasearch on "A Raisin in the Sun" and I'm having trouble answering this question: What was the status of African-Americans in the late 1950s? Why did they come to the North from the South and what they experienced when they got here? Include such information such as salaries, jobs, housing, and other data. Just wondering if anyone has any good links.
