Homework Help: english

i am learning about capital letters in English and i need to write a sentence about Earth. i was just wondering if planet has to have a capital letter.
Planet Earth or planet Earth which is right?

Hopefully the following link with the rules for capitalization will help you:

If you simply say Earth is a planet, no you do not capitalize the word planet. If you consider BOTH words the proper name, then you would.

thanks for that link. i thought i would show you what my homework is and ask you if possible to check that its right.
My homework is to put capital letters in the right places. this is how ive done it.
Lara Smith is a General in the Galactic Police.She fights against the evil Doctor Dark from Planet Dundar.On Tuesday 4th June 2033 Lara travelled from Earth on the space craft Zodiac to capture Doctor Dark and the Dunderans.

i`d be very grateful if you could check it for me and tell me if anything is wrong. thanks so much.

General is not capitalized unless it accompanies a name... General Robert E. Lee.

It should be On Tuesday, June 4, 2033,
