hyrogen sulfide is H2S. The products are right.
so it does not need any charges? and isnt that an acid?
I got for final answer as 2HS + 3O2 -----> 2SO2 + 2H2O
How can you get 2HS ==> etc when I gave you the correct formula for hydrogen sulfide as H2S?
H2S + O2 ==> SO2 + H2O which isn't balanced. And what is what an acid? H2S is an acid in aqueous solution. SO2 is an acid when added to water to form H2SO3.
