9+4*5-25/8-4/2+2

  You need to show us where the parentheses go, or at least provide spaces between the separate operations; otherwise the order of operation is unclear. You can get different answers depending upon which operations you perform. You do NOT usually just proceed from left to right, although that is one way it could be done. If that is supposed to be 9 + 4*5 -25/8 -4/2 +2 , then it would be the same as 9 + 20 -25/8 -2 + 2 = 25 7/8 If you do the operations from left to right, 9+4 = 13 5x13 = 65 65-25=40 40/8=5 5-4 = 1 1/2 +2 = 2 1/2
