Why are more people choosing to use alternative chinese medicines over traditional medical treatments? Are chinese alternatives as effect in curing or stalling the progression of diseases?

  If people cannot get effective results from traditional medical treatments, they are likely to try alternative treatments, whatever they are. However, they need to be aware of the alternatives. Sources like the Internet have increased this awareness. What diseases are you talking about? Any treatment will have varying effectiveness, depending on what the disorder is.
