This is really vague, and misleading. Which Human Rights? Which Christians? Christians exclusively, or in contrast to non-Christians?
for example: Why do non-Christians believe that human rights are important?
Why do Muslims believe that human rights are important?
Now to the issues?
Why do Gays and Lesbians believe that marriage is a human right and important?
Why does the Vatican oppose Lesbian Marriage?
Why do most countries oppose the inclusion of the right to water in the Human Rights Declaration?
Have fun with this assignement, I think you will enjoy it. My advice is to go to the broad to the specifics, as in What human rights do Christians support?
