okay i have 6 things 2 look 4 to c if a chem reaction 'goes'

they r
-ppt
-color change
-change in heat
-gas released
-light given off
-water formes

what is the 7th 1?

I don't know about water forms. Water forms when ice melts. I would change that to read "new products formed". On the color change, I would write it as a permanent color change. I can't think of any more that is worthy of adding.

Change in odor or taste (but I wouldn't recommend tasting).

volume change
change in melting point or boiling point.
change in electrical conductivity.
And there must be others.
(Actually, change in odor could be included in gas formation. Change in electrical conductivity might be included in water formation.)

I think "water forms" is an euphemism for "slightly ionized material forms."

Based on the six things you mentioned, it seems like you are referring to different observations that can indicate whether a chemical reaction has occurred. However, there isn't a universally agreed upon seventh observation to determine if a chemical reaction has taken place. To determine if a chemical reaction has occurred, it's important to consider a combination of these observable changes. Additionally, conducting further tests and observations, such as monitoring pH changes or analyzing reactant and product compositions, can provide more evidence of a chemical reaction.
