Homework Help: French

When you are using a boy in french do you have to take off the "e" when you tell their ages

This is what I mean

Girls- Elle
Boys-Ils

Well, you don't take anything off! You must memorize: she = elle
they (all girls) = elles
he = il
they (all boys or boys and girls mixed) = ils
