A room with only one window is dark even at mid-day. Explain how you could use wall-paper, furnishings and mirrors to brighten the room.

Use bright colored wallpaper (or paint) and maple or beech (light) furniture . Place a large mirror across from the window or near it on an adjacent wall. Avoid using drapes or curtains that cannot be moved aside.
