A figure skater glides along the ice at 2.2 m/s , she then accelerates at 1.3 m/s^2 for 3.0 seconds. At the end of that time she is moving at 6.1 m/s.
What would be the angle between the acceleration vector and the initial velocity vector?

    After 3 seconds she will have increased her speed by 3.9 m/s, attaining 3.9 + 2.2 = 6.1 m/s speed IF she was skating in a straight line.

    Since 6.1 m/s IS her final speed, she was skating along the initial velocity direction
    The answer is zero degrees.
