Homework Help: Research Writing

My topic is on Abortion and I am supposed to come up with a thesis statement.

Create a thesis statement for your research paper.
Abortion is one of the most controversial moral issues of our age. Although pro-choice and pro-life arguments centering on the morality of the issue are already well stated, the other more practical arguments on this subject have been underreported.

How do you plan to support your thesis with compelling
arguments and counterarguments?
with the practical evidence of how much wanted aborted babies would be by adopted families, the information on what a disservice abortion is for the family structure, and other compelling arguments.
Please advise what I could do to make this sound better.

The ideas are fine, although you could polish the language. How long is this supposed to be? If it's a standard essay, 5 paragraphs is what you should aim for. The first will mention what you are writing about, then 3 "proofs" and the last paragraph sums it up.
