1. whats is the median number?i already know that..hehe

2.what is the mean number?i already know that too..lol

3.what is the largest number among the lowext 35%of the set of data?

4.what is the lowest number among the upper 25%of the set of data?

5.how many belong to the top 25%

6. what is the standard deviation of the number of visits?

Shift
day pm night total
defective 3 2 1 6
acceptable 17 13 14 44
total 20 15 15 50

7. compare the quality level of shift?

8. what is the mean number of acceptable items for all shift?

the bank is studying the number of times the aTM located at the building is used per day.following are the numbers of times the machine was used over each of the last 30days

36 47 52 52 54 59 59 60 61 61 63 64 65 68 70 73 75 76 77 78 80 83 84 84 84 84 87 90 95 95

11.how many times is the ATM used in a day lower than 30th percentile?

12.How many time is the ATM used in a day higher than decile 8?

13.what is the mean absolute deviation of the given set of data?

14.what is the variance of the given set of data?

thank you very much to all that help me..thanks

for 3., 4., and 5. The data is already sorted, lowest-to-highest. The data set contains 15 elements. 35% of 15 is 5.25 (So, I would use the value of the 5th element) 25% of 15 is 3.75 (So, I would use the value of the 13th element)

For 11, 12, and 13 again use the sorted set. 30% of 30 is 9. so 11) the ATM is used between 36 and 61 times.
A decile is 10% so the 1st to 8th decile contains 80% of the value or 24. So 12) 84+ times.

I hope this helps.

for 6 and 14 I presume you know how to calculate standard deviations and variances from samples (just follow the formula)
