In 1995, 7.4 million people used the internet. The growth rate is 59% each year.

What is the general equation of the function?

  • Math -

    how about
    P(n) = 7.4(1.59)^n

where n is number of years since 1995, and P(n) is in millions, such that P(n) < appr 6 billion

BTW, at this rate of growth, every man, woman and child on the entire earth would use the internet by 2009
