**Ms. Sue**, Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 10:08pmFirst, let's get the outside area.

A = pi * r^2

A = 3.14 * 10.24

A = 32.1536

Now, the inside area:

A = 3.14 * 2^2

A = 12.56

Subtract:

32.1536 - 12.56 = ?
