Find an equation of the line containing the given pair of points.
(1,5) and (3,6)

Is the answear y=1/2x

again, you could check by just subbing in your given points,
they do not work.

your slope of 1/2 is correct, then
y = (1/2)x + b
sub in (1,5)

5 = (1/2)(1) + b
b = 9/2

y = (1/2)x + 9/2
