You need a pocket calculator or function table to get numerical answers.
2e^(5x) = 712
e^(5x) = 356
5x = ln 356 = 5.8749
x = 1.17499
log(5) 80 = x
5^x = 80
x log 5 = log 80 (any base)
x = 2.7227
log [(6x-90)/x^2] = -1
You need to specify the log base. If the log base is 10
[(6x-90)/x^2] = 0.1
If the log base is e, 1/e goes on the right side.
