Is Telemedicine really a good way to communicate with other health care providers or patients? I would think this would take away from the privacy part of patients.

  What difference does it make whether a physician calls a specialist on the phone or whether she sends the information via computer or fax? In any of these cases, the physician, of course, gets written permission from the patient.
