What is a huse plateau that covers most of central Mexico and is surrounded my mountains?

What is the main mountain range in eastern Mexico- containing Mexico's highest peak- that begins south of Rio Grande?

I'm not sure, because on the map's it says the same thing over the entitre span of mexico, but is the answer Sierra Madre?????
