First of all you have to figure out (calculate) your own ecological footprint. Once you do, it should tell you what your differences are. Most likely, everyone in the US will have higher gasoline and electricity usage, but you'd have to find out specifically.
I did calculate my footprint. It is larger than the world (mine is 3.4 vs. 2.2) I am wondering why this is.
