Homework Help: French

Hi! I'm SInclair and I;m just starting to study for my A-level French. i wrote this piece about the beach and I was hoping that you would be able to go through it and pretty much tell me how to make it parfait! Merci!!!!



Une fois, j’étais sur la plage.

Je pourrais voir beaucoup de choses. Les bateau à voiles et les canot à moteur surferaient sur la mer. Les enfants joueraient avec la sable, construire des châteaux de sable avec leurs pelles et leur seaux. Leurs parents s’assœiraient dans leurs transats pendant que regardent les enfants. Le phare s’est levé au-dessus tout ; sur sa propre île, les mouettes étaient les seules qui pourraient l’approcher. Elles s’envoleraient au-dessus les vagues, les crabes et les poissons.

Je souviens le marin avec sa rame. Il m’a dit que il a perdu sa barque et il n’avait que sa rame avec lui. Ensemble, nous avons essayé de la trouver. Nous avons cherché de les drapeaux de plage aux filets des bateaux de pêche. Malheureusement, nous ne l’avons pas trouver.

Dans l’eau, il y a beaucoup de maillots de bain en plus des kayaks et les pagaies. Les palmes disparaîtraient au-dessous la mer. Les algues flotteraient au haut de l’eau et restent là.

Je pourrais voir beaucoup de choses sur cette plage.

  Salut! Here are some things:
  j’étais = is this "j'étais" = I was?
  As for accent marks, if you tell me whether you have a MAC, PC, Windows or not, I'll send you the chart on how to make accent marks on your computer.
  
  bateau à = bateaux à
  canot à = canots à (when the article is plural (les) the noun must be plural)
  surferaient? (sometimes, if you don't provide the English of what you are trying to say, I can't guess)
  la sable = le sable pour construire
  châteaux = châteaux
  s’assÅ“iraient = sorry I can't read that! It must be s'assiéraient
  pendant que regardent = pendant qu'ils regarderaient (?)
  Question = why are you writing this all in the Conditional? If you want to say "they used to..." it would be l'imparfait. Were the directions that you must use the Conditional?
  s’est levé = Sorry, I can't read that either! Also, with these weird things like "île," I can't make any sense out of it. étaient ? and l’a = ? s’envoleraient is probably s'envoleraient?

  m’a dit = m'a dit?
  que il a = qu'il a
  n’avait = n'avait?
  essayé = essayé
  cherché de les = cherché des

  NOTE: Sorry, it's bad enough for my eyes to scroll up and down constantly, reading this, but it's impossible to read a lot of this!
  
  l’eau, = l'eau ? en plus = extra swim suits?
  disparaîtraient = werre disappearing? = disparaissaient (Now I'm quite sure you were to tell this in the past tense = l'imparfait et le passé composé?)
  au-dessous = au-dessous de
  flotteraient = flottaient (if Imperfect rather than Condtional)
  au haut de l’eau et restent là . = at the top of? l'eau et elles restaient là.
  
  Je pourrais = Je pouvais
  
  OK, please learn to do the accent marks properly. I'll not attempt to "guess" at another post looking like this one!
