Bon soir, Daniel. As for accents, I would need to know if you have MAC or PC, Windows or not to send you the chart so you should not get weird things on your computer!

Because I thought I was through for the evening, my eyes are tired, and they won't take scrolling up and down, I'll print what you wrote so I can read it and I'll be back in a little bit.

Thank you Madame I am using a Laptop with Windows xp at the moment maybe that is the reason?

Si tu veux résérver.....pourquoi ne le fais-tu pas à Saint-Louis, etc.? Le nom de Saint-Louis...veut dire "dead-end." (the real word for "dead-end" is un cul-de-sac OR une impasse.)....est entouré (surrounded)

(Since you are using the tu form, the command must be for tu as well.)

(I'm taking your word for a truss bridge, because I really don't know what that is!)

Une pour (here I'm not sure what you mean by English and French = singular or plural?) l'anglais (OR les anglais) et une pour le français (OR les français). (If you mean where English and French are taught, the 2 words will be singular or EVEN an English school and French school = une anglaise et une française) Danville était une fois une ville occupée avant la fermeture de la mine de magnésium.

    Accents:

    1. Here is the International Keyboard. Windows XP should have material that will tell you if you have this? (Broken Link Removed)

    2. Slide down to Windows Character Map and try that: http://www.colby.edu/lrc/help/accents.html

    3. Slide down to Windows XP: (Broken Link Removed)

Something here has to work! I'm so glad I have a MAC because accent marks are so easy!

It seems that you have the setting for the language as only English. Every web browser from Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 to 8

Since you only put English settings other language typings may cause the Internet Explorer to not recognize the characters.

Since all the Internet Explorer has at least the top 10 most used language in its system, all you have to do is turn them on.

Go to view -> Encoding -> More -> Western European (in this case)

If you don't have options such as this then you might be using different web browser. I don't have clear information on it however this works for Internet Explorer.

On MAC it may be different however there are language settings in all the web browsers so there is a way to fiddle with the problems. If your web browser doesn't have any language settings just import it from Internet Explorer or use Google Chrome to fix it up.

I hope this helps and is an accurate information and a solution to this problem.
