Did you follow the directions? Is this the site you went to?
Now, on the upper-right-hand side the box there is called SEARCH. This is to teach you how to search.
Click on the "more help" to learn how to search.
Yeah, this is the site I went to but once I type in what I am searching for it brings up hundreds of artices and in my instructions it said to look for ethical opinions, so I don't know where to go from there. I'm not stupid on how to search for things, I am just confused and overwhelmed
Did you find anything on the specific questions?
corrections date and time stamped?
advising patient about computerized records?
notifying patient of purging of records?
I was able to find a little bit of information on those questions that you mentioned, but a few others were not included in the article that I had found. It needs to be 5 sentences or more ( a paragraph) and some only answer in 1-2 sentences and aren't very clear
I think I'd try regular searches and then use only information that comes from AMA or related websites.
You can be more exact in your search terms if you use Google's advanced search feature, my favorite way to search -- go to http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en and put your search words or phrases into the first or second search box (either "all the words" or "exact phrase"). However, there many other strategies for searching you can use, and the HOW TO SEARCH THE INTERNET section at http://hanlib.sou.edu/searchtools/ will help you best.
Let us know how you do.
I think maybe I can help you with this problem. The ethical opinions on the AMA webside begin with the letter E. For example, E-5.07 Confidentiality: Computers. You can find ethical opinions under AMA Policy finder.
Also check the Code of Federal Regulations, there might be answers there to your questions.
Hope this helps and good luck.
I am having trouble with this also. I think my brain is stuck at this point. How do you find the article E-5.07. When I search that it brings up a ton of articles.
Thanks so much!
I put purging of arachaic or inccurate information into the google search box. Look for netsearch.
Call your instutor and she will give you information to find the article E-5.07 in the ama web site. My teacher e-mailed me the direction.
Call your instructor and she will give you information to find the article E-5.07 in the ama web site. My teacher e-mailed me the direction.
I finished this project and got a "B" on it. All the information you need is at the AMA site and in your book. Good luck.
I understand what you are saying I did find a answer to all 8 questions but, like you said they were only about 2 Sentences and in my section of the instructions it states 4 sentences. If anyone has found anything more please let me know.
