what does omni-powerful mean?

omni- = all

omniscient = all knowing
omnipotent = all powerful
omnipresent = present everywhere
etc.

I think it is a made up word to mean in all things powerful.

so if i were to write an essay for example, i shouldnt use this omni word? b/c it doesnt exist? or could i? because this website uses it..?

Of course you can use it. Omni isn't a word but a prefix that you can add to almost any word as Writeacher has shown.

Unless you're quoting verbatim, I'd change it to "all-powerful."

I agree with Ms. Sue -- you should use "all-powerful." You could also use "omnipotent." But you probably shouldn't use omni-powerful!!

"Omni-powerful" is not a commonly used term, but it seems to be related to the concept of omnipotence. "Omni-" is a prefix derived from Latin, meaning "all" or "every." Therefore, "omnipotent" refers to having unlimited or infinite power. It suggests the ability to do anything and everything, being in complete control and having no limitations.

To understand the meaning of terms like "omni-powerful," it is helpful to break down the word into its components. "Omni" means "all" or "every," and "powerful" indicates having great strength or authority. Hence, combining these two words implies having absolute and unlimited power.

It is important to note that terms like "omni-powerful" are often used within philosophical or theological discussions about the nature of a supreme being or God, as the idea of an all-powerful entity is central to many belief systems and philosophical debates.
