how do u find the zeros of x^3+13x^2-16x+8? w/o a calc?

I did a quick check for x = ±1, ±2 ±4 and could not get zero,

so it does not factor.

the option now is to graph and estimate the zeros by looking at the graph.

(btw, I ran it through one of the net's "equation solver" pages and got appr. -14 and two imaginary roots.)

without a calculator it would be quite cumbersome to get any accuracy for the zeros.
