between 1785 and 1815, the indians of the northwest and canada allied themselves with the british because
A) The british historically limited western expansion into indian lands
B) the Americans had cut off all communication and trade with those tribes
C) There had been reletless fighting between the Americans and the tribes since the Battle of Fallen Timbers
I'm aiming for answer A, but i'm not too sure..

NOTE: When the Indians allied with the British it was against the Americans. The Shawnee were with the French, the British and just for themselves.
