Each person learns differently. Some learn by hearing. This would be advantageous to that type of learner. Some learn visually. If they can ONLY hear it, it is a disadvantage. Others learn kinesthetically = they must be physically involved to learn. This would not fully help that type of learner. Also, there are people who have a combination of these types of learning.
So, the question would be: "What type of learner are you?"
