**drwls**, Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 7:30pmFor line between the points (x2,y2) and (x,y1), the slope is

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (7-3)/(x-4) = 4

Therefore 4x - 16 = 7 - 3 = 4

4x = 20

x = 5 is the correct answer
