Using the equation speed=distance/time, calculate the speeds(in km/hour) of a geosynchronous satellite

I'm given that the distance from this particular geosynchronous satellite is 36000km from Earth, and orbits Earth 24h. I can not understand how to solve this question. My initial thought was to divide 36000 by 24, giving me 1500, however this answer was wrong. Im sure that you somehow need to include the circumference of Earth, however I don't understand. Please help me!

Add the altitude (given) to the radius of the earth.

Distance=2PI*radius.
